I'm a CSI addict. For those of you that don't know
what it is, it's a crime show where the people use forensics to figure
out what happened at a crime scene be it murder, accidents, or
suicide. They are forever swabbing surfaces for fingerprints, and
    DNA.

Well the other day this girl on the show v* and said she must have had
bad shrimp salad for dinner last night. Grissom(head CSI) said it
couldn't have been the shrimp salad because spoiled mayonaise would
    make someone v* within 15 MINUTES!! OMG 15 MINUTES..GROSS!

Yuck, no mayo for me pa-leez!

Well it's better than fretting yourself for 10 hours wondering if what you ate will make you ill.

So true. I hate wondering if something's going to make me sick.

I know someone here might say, "well that's a tv show". I'd say I
agree but this show in particular tries to keep the information and
story lines as close to the truth as possible. I watched some of
the characters on a talk show and they said they get real forensic
scientists to advise them on the show.

I've seen that episode, that part grosed me out. CSI has lots of vomit scenes, but I too love that show--I also love the other 2 series (miami & NY). The bad thing about it is a lot of repeat flashbacks, so those scenes are usually shown more than once during the episode. Beware of the episode where the girl dies at a prom party in a casino hotel and the casino owner's daughter gets kidnapped--it's chock full of gross v scenes!!

Oh donna, I saw that episode..ewww. That one was full of v*

How bout the one where the teens got a hold of some weird
hallucinagenic drugs during a football game. After the game the
two girls and the guy were on the football field having some strange
sex together and the one guy, and one gal killed the third girl and ATE
some of her flesh. They were so spaced out on the drugs they didn't
    know what they were doing.

When the CSI team figured out what occured, they went to the school of
the suspected teens and told them what happened. The girl was sitting
in the locker room when they told her, and she v* on the floor, the
sound effects were just horrible.. eww, it's like I'm glued to the tv,
even if I've seen the episode before, I have to watch. I don't know why
I torture myself when I know the v* scene is coming!!

I heard the same thing, if you eat something spoild you get sick within 15 minutes to a couple of hours. If you eat something that contains a bug from someone whos sick it takes 1-2 days until you get sick.

I love C.S.I and I saw both the vomit episodes, the lockerroom pjuking was so bad, you could hear her feelings so sick and gasping for air in between, still I watched it in fear and fasination.

Yes, I saw the locker room one, too, there is also one where they go to a drug rehab and someone going thru withdrawals is sick in the background. CSI Miami had some scenes in last week's episode (It's the one where at the beginning a guy is hanging off an apartment building, then he falls and it turns out he fell on someone walking on the street and killed him then left the scene) anyway, another killer in the episode gets someone else to bury the dead body, when the ME examines the body, there is something in the dead girl's hair. The ME says, "hey I've seen this before, it's vomit", and from there it goes through the person digging the hole but having a weak stomach and v'ing all over her. EWWWW, it was gross, my husband sat there laughing as I pulled a blanket over my head~
