ok so i've got this facebook problem. I've asked everyone I know but they don't know what the problem is. So I was hoping one of you guys would know

whenever i try to send someone a friend request or become a fan of something a notification comes up that says "you cannot add anymore friends or pages without removing some first" but I can accept friend requests and become fans of things that are referred to me, just cant send any! i'm a fan of about 500 things, LOL but I know some people that are fans of like thousands!! and I have only like 400 friends. does anyone know how to fix this problem?
