So I open the door to let Rocky out, and I what do I see! Snow! YAY! It
was coming to middle of December, and we hadn't had it yet. It's coming
down nicely now. I love snow.

I know this is a little pointless, but anyone who has spoken to me know
I loves snow. Rocky (Drew's new German Shepard pup) loves it, Uga still
runs outside to use the bathroom, and rushes back in.

We had a nice ground blizzard this weekend, and it's wicked cold out today... 7 degrees as I write. Snow is pretty when it falls nicely to the ground and covers everything so stark white and clean!! I love snow like that. Here in North Dakota that's a rarity. As I said, we had a ground blizzard this weekend, which is when the wind is so strong that it blows around the snow that's already on the ground, creating blizzard conditions outside. It was nasty to be out. But I'm envious of what I'm imagining to be your beautiful, tranquil snowfall!
In memory of the sweetest german shepherd I ever had the pleasure of knowing. I love you, Duncan. 3/12/02 - 12/19/11

Well we are in the mountains of West Virginia! That means try and walk in your slope yard and you become one with the snow!

Thats why I send Drew to get the mail and the paper...

It's so cute watching him slide and fall down the hill, and try and
watch his mouth cause I am watching! Ahhh the joys of being me!

Snow makes me happy, Stephen (Thats me, for those that need a hint! LOL)is in a really good mood.

I'm in Florida now, so I don't have to worry about snow, the freezing cold, and scraping my windows in the morning before I go to work. Some people like snow, but I don't. I only like it if it snows on Christmas.

I love snow! We have loads over here! Supposed to snow for the next few days! I just don't like the cold that comes with it...bundling up in scarves is no fun! My dog absolutly loves the snow. We bought her little booties (sad, I know) and she prances around like crazy. Its absolutly adorable. And snow and frost and ice makes the world look so pretty, peaceful and calm. Just the way it tops the trees just right...amazing.

Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

Today is also our first real snowfall (like it actually covers the road and everything!) I'm excited! I love snow in December. But after January, it can go away, lol!

Stephen, what part of West Virginia are you from? I'm in Ohio, probably about 2 hours away from Marietta, where the Ohio River crosses into WV. I remember when I used to be the only emet on this site near my area. Everyone else was far away. I like knowing some of you guys live pretty close!

You are lucky! I am jealous now...LOL!!!! We (Omaha NE) had awhoppin' 3 inches so far, and it all melted the next day.

I need snow to get into the Christmas spirit. I hate looking outside and seeing grey sky, dead leaves, and just....acky brown!

Enjoy the beautiful scenery, and send some snow this way!!!

HDogg I am close to Flat Top..... In Between Beckley,
Charleston, Huntington, It's like a triangle. As the incline starts
from Huntington, in to Barboursville, that is where I am. In the middle
of nowhere. There is also a member on here from close in Kentucky. I
was kinda shocked to see some one from OHIO on here. Winterplace is
less than an hour from my home, and it's all up hill. YAY!

Nothing like Snowshoe......... I love Snowshoe
mountain........ Drew loves Snowshoe mountain....... Uga hates the
snow..... So she would probably hate Snowshoe mountain.

Marietta is 2 full hours from me, you have to shoot up
towards Charelston, and then fire up towards Parkersburg. Not too far
    though.

The summers kill me here. The heat is so humid. But the
winter is lovely, I live for winters. I know I know I'm silly, Drew
can't stand how I love the cold. BUT HE IS A BIG SISSY!!!! TOUGH IT UP
BOY, SO YOUR TEETH ARE CHATTERING!!!!!!! No seriously, that boy bundles
up so much, I am suprised he can move his arms. While I am throwing
snowballs at the dogs. It was nice and snowy this morning, so we have
the nice cover, with the sun out, so everything is gleeming white. But
    it is melting to fast.....

    Sigh......

Oh well gonna throw a snowball at Drew when he gets off the bus,

    YAY!
