if i dont eat meat for a long time can i get sick from going back to it?

so i have been having some problems e.g not eating much and i have gotten a little better i have been eating allot of cheese but the only meat i have been eating is chicken and the occasional ham, but my mother told me that uf you don't eat for a long time your stomach can reject the food so i haven't eaten any meat apart from chicken for months now and today for dinner i will be having a little steak could this make me vomit?
