okay so one of my good girlfriends has been ill the last couple days
with cold symptoms... she was feverish and fatigued and had like chest
congestion, stuffy nose, cough, etc. But today she started
vomiting! Does this mean it's influenza??!! I haven't been
avoiding her b/c I thought she just had a cold! It's after 1am
and I'm really scared that i'll come down with it. help!

Has she V more then once? Mucus will make a person vomit..so will strep throat if it gets bad...fevers...maybe it still just a cold virus.
Have you kept your hands clean? Not eaten after her or shared cups?
I bet it's just a cold that is getting worse. She should see a doctor incase of infection.

thanks for replying. i'm just hoping it is a cold...and she v*d
from the mucus. If i caught a cold from her I could avoid v*ing
from it just by making sure I cough up and spit out the mucus instead
of keeping it in my body. i'm just worried that it is influenza
and that i could've breathed it in just by being near her, and if i
catch it it will make me v*! I didn't share any cups with
her or anything, but i was still close to her and stuff b/c i am not
scared of people with cold symptoms

I'm the same way with colds. I don't think you will catch. Did she sneeze or cough on you? Did she seem to be feeling really bad? Maybe she vomited from meds she was taking?
THinking of you and hope you can calm and gets some rest!

no she didnt sneeze or cough directly on me, but i read that all she
would've had to do is cough nearby me and the virus becomes airborne
and i can breathe it in. she just seemed to be tired from a
cold. thanks for replying, i am trying to calm down. i just
don't think i could handle it if i v*d!!!
