Exclamation Please help. Sister is sick. I have to take care of her.

My little sister has been s**k once into the bucket.
Her symptoms started out - loss of appetite
    bloating
    then
    cramps
    nausea
    then
    diarrhea
    vom**
    then
    aches
    fatugue
    fever

    How do I cope?
Everyone from my school is sick (including me)
but 3 people including my sister have come down with something different.
I have a fever coughing etc
But right now I feel not hungry and bloated.
I just ate and sometimes this happens
but I had a tiny dinner.

I keep having flashbacks of her vom**ing
    it's really scaring me.

    HELP!

I know it is hard to deal with. I have two children I have to take care of when they are sick, and I have been scared of this since I was much younger than you. A long time to cope.

Best advice I can give you is to breathe, and to change your thinking. Watch a movie (I have specific "Panic Attack" movies), play a game that keeps your mind working.

Also, though I don't know where you are from, the sv* seems to have hit very early this year here in Alberta. The good news is, is that once you get it, chances are you won't get it again. Most ppl don't even get it every year. So, try to keep that in mind.

The bloating is partly imagination and partly eating and partly panic. Peppermint tea helps. Stay strong!
That, which does not kill us, makes us stronger!
