    Default Question

    Hi everyone!

First off I'd like to say I'm doing a lot better than last year at this time but I still have a question, one of my co-workers had the stomach bug this past week not sure what day but she's been out M,T, and W of this week and came back TH. Today she used my computer for something, then I used it but washed my hands after I was done. She also had her hands on my jacket which I wore. I feel like I'm pretty much in the clear but what do you think, I've been working really hard not to worry.

    Thanks!

If she was out on Monday, that means she was probably sick and puking on Sunday or Monday, and she was no longer contagious by Tuesday or Wednesday. She should be OK to use your computer today (Friday) but it is still good that you washed your hands after she used it.

You should be fine if you wash your hands. The thing is, if the woman didn't wash her hands after using the bathroom ("#2") she may still be shedding norovirus in her stool. But if she did wash her hands, then there's no way you can catch it, even if she does use your computer. Also, if you wash your hands after touching what she touched you can't catch it no matter what.
