I am 21, as others have said also, but I started coming here when I was 17/18, and have been emet since i can remember. I've always said that being a teenager is incredibly rough. But then when you through a phobia like emet into the mix, it's multiplied by like 1000. Because hormones are running rampent and social cliques, etc. I too came here often, and found a lot of comfort in it.
Good luck, it won't last forever, and gets better. I promise!

Im 18. Ive actually just finished my 1st year of uni but my emetophobia was at its worst in highschool which was extremely difficult. Glad it doesn't give me much trouble now though because I have to take public transport everywhere so if it did I would be an absolute mess!

Yes, I am a teen. I'm 14, turning 15 December 13th.
My emetophobia has been controlling my life for as long as i can remember. I also have OCD, Hypochondria and Panic Disorder.
I missed about 20 days of school in September of the 6th grade, as well as most of April and May of this past school year (grade 9).
