Have not posted in a while, HELP!!!!!!!

Hey all,

I haven't been on here in a while because me and my phobia have been doing extremely well, but today everything has come flooding back

A friends of mine had a SV last saturday and a week later, today, she came to my house for a visit and catch up. It was great to see her, but now I'm petrified that I may of caught the virus from her! I'm going into panic attack mode and that is a place I have not been in so long

Would she still be contagious? She gave me a gift, could I catch the virus from that? Please help!!!

The only way she can be contagious is if she was still "shedding" the virus, meaning she had a bm* and didn't properly wash her hands and then "containmenated" surfaces in your house or thing she touched then you touched. I think you should be ok though...hope you can have a peaceful night!

Thankyou so much for your reply. While she was at my house I did not eat anything with my hands and I did smoke a bit but it has been one week since she was sick....my mum seems to think I'm overreacting.

it's been a week so you should be just fine.......i think the only way she coudl still be shedding the virus is through a bm........doubt she did that at your house.....lol......clean hands does the trick
