So I ate a chicken pasta bake ready meal last night at about 10pm. I bought it from Tesco and it was a "Light Choices" one. (Low in fat, basically). I cooked it for 25 minutes at 200 degrees in the oven (the packaging said 25 minutes at 190 degrees, but I put it at 200 just to be safe) and it was piping hot all the way through before I ate it. There weren't many chicken pieces in it to be honest and they were really quite small but as I was eating it, some of the pieces seemed a bit too soft. (If that makes any sense at all??) So my question is... Is it possible to get food poisoning from this? I'm a bit worried because about an hour ago I started to feel a bit nauseous (I'm putting it down to anxiety for now) and I'm wondering if the ready meal could have caused it?
I've read on some sites that all meat in ready meals is pre-cooked, but other sites are saying that's wrong. Please help me, I'm a bit worried.
