Don't worry. the same thing happened to me last month. I caught a bad
cold from my mom and she started v* after about 3 days of
congestion/coughing, etc. The difference between me and mom is that she
will let herself cough to the point of gagging until she v*'s . As
bizarre as that seems to us, it doesn't bother her. She's always been
like that and insists it helps clear her congestion. She even made
herself some lunch soon afterwards as if nothing had happened. Of
course, at the time i freaked out and had phantom stomach pains, but
now that i put it into perspective and look at the facts, it really
wasn't worth worrying about. A cold is a cold and a SV is something
completely different. You'll be fine, and the d* is a totally
normal reaction to the stress and cold meds. Good Luck.

My mom has v'd from a cold before because she has coughed so hard. I have felt nauseous from a cold before because of all the mucus in the stomach. Different people react differently to symptoms. Just because you caught the cold, doesn't mean yours will follow the exact same course as your dad's. Hope you're feeling better!

    don't
worry. this does happen to some people when they have bad
colds...but hardly ever to emets. just let the mucus out of your
body by blowing your nose and such, try to swallow as little mucus as
possible. the mucus making the stomach queasy, plus bad coughing
can cause v*ing, but i believe we can prevent this from happening. </span></span>
