Hey, I’m new!

Hello,
my name is Jenni and I'm 14 years old. I found out that I had Emet.
about a year ago, but my mum and myself are pretty sure I've had it for
much longer than that. I'm so glad that there is somewhere for people
with Emet. to come and talk about their experiences.

I never realised it was one of the most common phobias, and I was
pretty amazed when I found that out. Also, I've realised just how
powerful your mind can be.

I've got to the stage where I'm finding it hard to go out, and I've
lost quite a lot of weight, which also adds onto the low self-esteem
I've had since I can remember.



I just thought I'd introduce myself. I'm glad of places like this

hey Jenni welcome to this site and i hope u find the help u need on this site....please try not to let this phobia take over your life.....i did and i was agoraphobic for 2yrs .....but now after deciding that tablets were the only thing that was going to possibly help me...i started to take them after 3yrs of refusing them and now i am no long agrophobic....i have been able to get out for the last year and last nite was the first social event i have done in 3yrs...i went to a disco!!!!!..please don't give up....keep going out even if it to the end of the road and back because if u don't things will only spiral out of control....and each time seems harder and harder to get out......
