Anything raw or well done, under done...etc. lol I don't eat burgers, steak, ribs, etc. Ironically enough, I love chicken and I eat it all the time.

Yeah white meats can be undercooked and can make you severely I'll whereas however disgusting it is, you can eat beef rare and not get poisoning from it bein undercooked.
I have another very strange one which is basil. That's the smell, the taste, the texture, everything. It brings back nostalgia of a horrible day where i believe i almost v*. Ugh, thinking about it scares me!

For me it's any meat at all. That's why I'm vegetarian.

For me, its chicken....I always stress when me or my hubby makes chicken...pork too...and sausage (still pork)

I don't mind red meat so much cause I know its okay to eat undercooked....the chicken I love too but I'm nuts between every bite...

I cant eat any dairy(cheese, milk, ice cream, yogurt) , no tomatoes, no onions, no peppers, nothing fried, nothing fatty, nothing considered citric, and nothing with too much fiber.
And these are all the rules my nutrionist set up for me...I cant eat like anything.

Oh my gosh! I would die if I couldn't have tomatoes. They are literally my favorite food.

I used to not be able to eat pizza or chicken often without it triggering some sort of anxiety but I have gotten a lot better. I can eat just about everything unless I have high anxiety that day or something.

Mine would be Sushi, I would never touch that, it`s made from raw fish.

undercooked chicken, sushi, sometime salted pork. Despite this, I still love smoked fish(especially salmon) and prosciutto.

I love steak cooked medium-rare, medium-pork, and ribs. If it's ground beef, it has to be well, or from a trusted source.

Well I'm a vegetarian, and while my reasons aren't entirely due to emetophobia, it's a huge contributing factor.

Anyway, I can't eat rich foods. So I avoid things like fettuccine alfredo and buttery mashed potatoes, and I don't eat dessert, ever.

I eat anything I want, and sometimes too much of it, as long as I'm home, going to be home soon, or in another "safe" place. My fear is not so much the v*, but doing it in public, or somewhere I'm will be stuck.

Right now it's just eating from fast food places or delivery. But mainly because the norovirus is going around and I fear someone working there had the virus and is still contagious or something. :/ But I can't give up my favorite pizza places.

Haha, i work at a pizza place. And everybody is sick ! It's worse than school because we are so confined and share everything...like phones, cash register, etc. But it's diferent for the customers because they dont come in contact with those surfaces. I havent had pizza in 3 years. ):

This conversation makes me so sad! I was in italy september last year where my boyfriends family own a restaurant, we spent all day eating new things, stuffing our faces, we went to bed every night feeling like big round balls and still woke up to do it all again, I loved every moment of that holiday but come december my emet got really out of hand and now I battle to eat out at all, when I do its always vegetarian and have anxiety for about 3 days after.. I hate that this phobia controls so much of our lives! I wish I could somehow go back to enjoying food!

I try to avoid chicken, when i do eat it, i have to literally disect it, and im always concious encase it isnt cooked. i also cant eat sweetcorn. i have to chew carrots loads and loads before i can swallow it. And i dont eat sea food becuase of the contamination with the sea water

I'm more worried about people infecting the pizza itself....but pizza cooks at a very high temp, enough to kill the noro. Right? Someone reassure me because now I'm freaking out.

YES ! it is extremely hot, and no one with noro should be making pizza in the first place ! lol

Pork!!! Last time I ate it I got the worst food poisoning so I'll never eat it again. And then salad made by someone else...only because on this site I have read that's an easy way to get noro!
