Thank god there are no Dennys here but you can get food poisoning at any resturant. Food poisoning isn't nice at all. Laura you did so well and I applaud you. I think sometimes we are stronger than we think in times of crisis, I don't know. I am glad that you are feeling better and like donna stated don't feel guilty about your mom that is what us moms do!

That sounds absolutely miserable. Just reading your post made me feel nauseated. I certainly do hope you feel better soon!

Good morning, my faithful friends

Now for the lil update...

I went to bed at around quarter to nine (super early considering I go
to bed usually around 11! but I was just SO utterly exhasted) and
before I knew it I fell asleep, even though I was so anxious to. And
other than really, really bizzare dreams, I didn't awake until just a
few minutes ago...at around quarter after 12pm!! I woke up feeling
rested and restored, and even though it still ached a bit through my
digestive tract (and why wouldn't it, those muscles must be as tired as
I was!) I just ate a Keloggs Rice Krispie Square. With choclate chips
on it =) We'll see how that sits, but it sure tasted delicious!!

Now for my Moms' update. She actually did v* once last night. But I was
asleep and didnt' even wake up to it! Then she had diarreah a couple of
times, and then went to bed. She woke up at 7, felt 100% better and she
is cleaning the house as we speak. She ran errands up town and well
feels like her old self. I asked her if she brought up food when she
v*ed and she said, yeah, the fajhita. To answer your question about
that, it was a pre packaged home one, so we 'Instantly Prepared' it and
ate it at our own kitchen table. And it kinda tasted funny, you know,
but I loved them so much that I kept eating

And zane2673: Thank you for the information on your husband. Yes, I
only v*ed once, and there was more food brought up than liquid
Then I just proceeded to get it out the other end, and haven't v*ed
since that incident the night before last. I think that once I got it
out that way (the v* way) the food was out so I just got rid of the
bacteria that way.

stella9: Thank you so much for that information. Your poor sister! I
feel her pain. Imagine how tought that would've been if she was emet.
And you're right, I suppose that I will never know if this was food
posioning or not. All I know is that it was v*. And that it was much
worse than in December when I had it. But also, no one around here has
the stomach bug, its all coughing colds kinda thing. But who knows,
maybe its the air born for no reason kind, OR the food. I really have
no idea, BUT I know that my Mom who ate the same as me was sick once
and once she brought up the food she felt much better. Hmm to all this,
lol.

Thank you once again for your posts, everyone. Your' wishes made me
feel better =) The only thing bothering me right now is that whenever I
breathe in I get the scent of sour v* >.< I suppose that's
normal, and once I eat/smell some good scented stuff that should be
okay. And the last medication I took was a gravol before I went to bed
last night, at around 8:30.

I have a feedback session with my pyschiatrist today concerning my OCD.
This appointment has been booked for a long while so I suppose I should
still go. I'm sure I will feel better, and if not, they should
understand. Anyway, I'll let you know how that goes later on. That's at
around 4 o'clock. My mom sure feels up to it..

Anyways, I'm going to go play some Sims 2..the only good part about being home sick ;-)

Thank you all for your replies and best wishes,

Laura</font>

Hey honey, I am so so impressed with how brave you have been about this whole thing. It sounds like the food to me, when I had food posoining it lasted all night and I felt like hell but with a stomach bug it only lasted lik a night and I was ok. And it is true that many people who say they have a Stomach bug actually have food poisoning but because people react differenlt and may V* on diff times (like you and your mum) people automatically call it a bug. Yake my Mum and I. As soon as she gets food posoined she V* within a few hours EVERYTIME cos her stomach is so weak. But if she and i ate the same thing I probably wouldn't get sick till the next day...and maybe not even V* at all.

Food posoining is the pits, really really horrible. Anyway, you are dealing with this very well and I am proud. I hope you are ok
