Does cheesecake go bad????

I bought a cheesecake yesterday, you know those nice thick cheesecakes?? Last night I forgot to put it in the fridge, it was left out on my counter all night. It isn't cold nor hot in apt. so I am wondering does cheesecake go bad. Thankyou Jess for PM'ing me back about this, I appreciate it. Now do I eat the cake or throw it out. I am not touching it until people tell me yes eat it!!!Wishful thinking

NOPE-I would'nt take the chance. Unless of course the box says it's been preserved and it does'nt need to be refrigerated.

Mmm, cheesecake! Not sure what would happen to it. My sister had some with mold on it at a restaurant once! She ate at least some, if not all of it, and was fine. But, no I'd probably not risk it...

Oh crap you 2 are right, it says on the box Refrigerate unused portions immediately[img]smileys/smilies_06.gif[/img]. Oh well I guess I will be buying another one, it was soooo good.

No I didn't eat it. But gosh I love cheesecake!! Maybe it was a good thing that I left it out, I would have ate it all!! I hear you Josie mmmm cheesecake!!
