    Default Frozen chicken pot pies

I was over at a friend's house and she cooked us some chicken pot pies in the microwave.

Does anyone know if the pre-cook the chicken? I know there was an outbreak of salmonella with these a few years back. Some of the chicken seemed a little soft, but I'm not incredibly worried.

My husband eats those all the time. Yes the chicken is pre cooked then frozen. He eats them about once a week and has never gotten sick.

Definitely precooked. Any of those frozen meals should be totally safe if the microwave directions are followed. Plus, they're full of preservatives. You'll do great.
