I've tried all of these drinks at different times because I couldn't eat or I wanted to lose weight, and each time I felt sick afterwards.

I don't think it's in my head, I think my body isn't used to so many nutrients and protein in one shot that it actually makes me feel ill, but I could be wrong here, and would love to hear your responses.

    Thanks!

I've just never liked the taste, cause they don't have enough flavor and too much milk, so I gag. I don't drink milk either, lol! I can drink milkshakes and stuff though, with extra chocolate

Instead of meal replacement shakes I just like to make smoothies, you can put like 3 different kinds of fruit, then either Ice and fruit juice or Ice Cream or yoghurt, they taste so much nicer and depending what you add to the fruit it can help lose weight or gain. Plus they taste yummy. They might not have all the nutrients you need but it's a good way of getting lots of fruit when you cant face eating.

I tried a weight gain shake after losing weight through emet and practically gagged it tasted so aweful. Now if I can't eat I have a smoothie and it's the same but tastier!

Because of my IBS symptoms in the morning I find it easier to drink a Slim Fast then to actually eat solid food.

I drink the chocolate Slim Fast and if I remember I put in the freezer for a while before I drink it so it is really cold. I don't mind the taste at all and it generally helps settle my stomach in the morning.

I drink Boost sometimes when I feel like my eating has been really poor. THe first time I drank one I thought it was disgusting! I only got a little bit down. But I kept drinking thme and I found that I could drink more and more. THey still don't taste good to me, but I can get them down. Wor dof advice - they are much better cold and out of a glass than the can!!

I can deal with the taste, but for some reason I just feel sick afterwards, and now ensure can out with lactose free, which is also a good thing for me.

I drank a couple of sips from one this morning but couldn't continue because I was too afraid, but I think I was ok, I mean I've been having stomach problems, and my stomach was a bit off but probably not from the drink. Even after that, I don't know if I want to try it again!

I remember, one time in health class, this group was doing the Slim
Fast diet. They brought in the actual drinks, and we tasted them. All I
can say is EW! I hated it. Nevermind I don't like dairy products.
