How long have you suffered from this?

Actually mine is about 4. I remember counting the continents on a world map each night before lights out. I had to say good bight to them all too and beg them not to make me be you know what.

They seemed to help me a lot at the time.

I recall first being apprehensive about IT around the age of 4 or 5. I'm 41 now but it has gotten progressively worse since I was in my mid-20s.

I am sure I was a emet when I turned three, because I was already seeing a therapist. I like to say since I was a baby, my parents told me I was always afraid of v and I cannot remember one day in my life where I thought "If I get sick, that's ok".

I'm 43 years old. My first memories of emetophobia are from age 7.

I remember being about four, and crying every time my parents put me to bed. I was afraid of waking up sick during the night. I think it really developed when I was ten, and caught a stomach virus from my dad. I'm 24 now, and the phobia is the worst it has ever been.

I remember being around 3. My parents don't remember it getting bad until I was about 9, thats when they put me in to therapy. I feel like that must have been when it became noticeable to others besides me. I am 22 now.

I'd say 5yrs and am now 43. My brother had migraines and did alot of V and my parents, along with him, were alcoholics. My Mom tells me I would force myself to not V when I was a kid. But with 3 kids I would V alot due to morning s___ness so for me to do it isn't so big. Its the kids, hubby, and the rest of the world I come into contact with!!! AND I WORK IN A HOSPITAL!
