I work in a bar/kitchen. It's dirty and I absolutely dread going in to work. Does anyone have any coping mechanisms? I can't leave as I need the money but I'm just fed up with how gross it is, how badly the manager treats me, my colleagues etc. thanks x

Is there another kitchen you can work at? Have you tried applying other places? Can you anonymously report your manager to corporate? Try to stick it out. It my experience managers switch around a lot. Do not take his criticism personally. Let it roll off your back. Do not give him the power to upset you. Can you clean during slow times?
