    Default Words of wisdom, hopefully!!

Just a little note to say. Know they are going crazy over the Noro in the media, here in the UK especially. Claimed 1.2 million have been "hit" by the virus.

BUT.... This is only because they have decided that every case of reported Noro means that there is 288 that haven't been reported. How do they even know this if it's not reported?!

The true amount that HAS been reported is a mere 3,877!
I am aware that of course there are a lot of cases that are not reported, which would also say to me they couldn't of been that horrific if they didn't need medical assistance or advice but there is a huge difference between under four thousand and 1.2 million!!

    :-) xx

You are absolutely right. They have no idea how many are actually sick with noro. A lot of people may say they have noro when they just got a dodgey egg. We don't have any idea how many people have noro in the US, because the CDC does not track it. They are fear mongering. We had a school shooting yesterday in California and magically all talk of illness is off the main news.

Media LOVES fear mongering. Whatever gets the hits on their channels or websites. It was like the swine flu craze!
