    Default Screw it. I'm going.

I have a ladies group meeting on Saturday. I have missed every meeting this year because of my hubby's and kids' activities. Well, now we have nothing going on. Normally, I wouldn't go because it's flu season. But screw it. I'm going. It's my one chance a month to make friends and I haven't even gotten to show them that I've lost over 50 lbs. Screw being scared about getting sick. I doubt any of them have noro anyway since it's a local historical group and few of them are under 50 with small kids.

That's the way to go about it! Don't let emet stop you from socialising, good for you.

I didn't end up going, because my husband overslept and I can't drive. But I did go to Home Depot and get all the seeds for my garden. I also took my girls to the Base Exchange to get Easter dresses. To my surprise, they picked matching dresses on their own. In addition, hubby did not complain about spending money on more clothes for the girls and even wants them to get matching hats. *faint* I have hardly been out of the house this whole month. Of course, my kids have been sick with the flu for the past two weeks.

Awh, at least you still went out! It's lucky it was the Flu and not SV*, as bad as that may sound I think I'd much prefer to have the Flu for two weeks rather than SV* for two days. :P

It is so hard to get out and make friends when you have special needs kid/s. Try to take the time next month to go. You need your Grace time to keep you sane. Good for you for getting out to shop. KUDOS on the weight loss. How did you do it????

I tracked my food on fitday.com which is free. I tried to keep between 1500-1800 calories and to get all my nutrition from food. On fit day, you can track your nutrition as well as your calories. A friend who became a Zuma instructor used it to loose weight.

I also restored my deck. It had not been painted or worked on in probably over 20 years. I spent a lot of hours scrubbing on hands and knees to get all the black mold off. Do not believe those DIY videos! Nothing is as easy as they make it look! In addition, I went gluten free after my doctor told me I was allergic to wheat.
