Has anyone ever heard of the gamma globin shots? It is an injection that is supossed to boost the immune system. For kids like that catch everything and are more suseptible tocatch any little thing. My daughter's Pre-K teacher told me about it. Because, she said that in Kindergarden, you can only miss so many days. And, if my daughter is as sick this year as she was last year, she will not pass Kindergarden. If anyone knows anything about these shots or have heard feedback on them, please post. I really need some advice.

    Thanks,

    Mary

I have heard of them, but around here they are usually used in children with compromised immune systems--like children with cancer, blood disorders, etc. I've never seen them used on children who just seem to catch every little thing. You would need to check with your daughter's doctor just to be sure.
