I just got a phone call from my mother. She said she has to work midnight tonight also and she'll be home in the morning at about 8:00. Now I'm going to be 18 in a little under four months and I shouldn't be afraid of being home alone, but I am. I'm afraid because what if something happens to my body over night and she isn't here to call 911 or something and I'm so shy that I wouldn't call myself or call her at work.

I'm already lightheaded thinking about it. Crying also. I'm such a baby. But I'll be up most of the night. I usually am anyways, but tonight I will be up pretty later--maybe until 4 or later. If anyone will be on late can you IM me and keep my mind off things? My screename is KRAZIQTASHES and DONTWANNABEME17 (those are aim/aol.) I'll be on one or the other.

Ugh. I feel sick.

I'm sorry about that.. you'll be fine though Just try not to stress
yourself out too much.. I'd recommend putting on a few favorite movies,
and just watching them. Maybe fall asleep while watching them. Just do
things to take your mind off of her not being there. Turn on all the
nights and act like its still the afternoon. You'll be alright ^^ I'd
IM you, but I have to go to sleep early tonight, so I can get up early
tomorrow..

How are you doing? Ok, I hope. I know how you feel.
I'm 28, and when my boyfriend (who I live with) goes to Atlantic City
with his friends for the night, I cry too. I hate to be
alone. You are NOT a baby. It's all about comfort.....and
us emets need a lot of it. You will be fine. I have to
agree with the post above. My TV is always on when I am
alone. I need the background noise. Channel surfing is the
way to go! Hope you are feeling better. Carrie
