Good morning everyone,

I got back from a two-day business trip last night and my wife wasn't
feeling well. She told me her stomach and head have been bothering her
all day and she was unable to eat more than a few bites of her dinner.
We've been under a GREAT deal of stress lately (including a move) so it
could be that just got to her.

Well late last night she went to the bathroom like she was going to v*
but she didn't, she just heaved a bit, but no "product" even though she
had just eaten. She also visited mr. number 2 a few times more than
usual but it was not di*ea.

She slept thru the night ok and when she woke up this morning she said
she felt much better and she just IMed me that she was going to get a
bagel.

So are we safe? If something were going to happen, would it have by
now? She said she felt "off" all day yesterday. And am I in danger of
potentially catching it?

For what its worth, although I am miserable and phobic right NOW, I was
very proud of how i handled myself in the moment. When I thought she
was going to v*, I was standing next to her holding her hand.

Thanks in advance,

Lewis

Way to go Lewis!!! I don't think you have too much to worry about, maybe she just felt blah that day. I had a blah day yesterday, thinking I caught the stomach bug from my sister but I am fine. We all have our off days and I think she had that. She may have caught a bug but it sounds like stress to.
You know the routine just wash those hands, you will be fine.

she made the coffee this morning, etc...

You did good taking care of her and all.

You'll be OK. My entire family got the sv a few weeks ago including my wife. I washed my hands and was careful.

The rule of thumbs for contagion, at least for me, is 3 days after the
last symptoms. I followed the rule before, ya know, getting
"close" and I was alright and never caught it.

You should be fine. I remember when my honey came home from work white as a ghost, fever, chills, the runs, feeling sick than the sore throat, i was freaking because the night before we kissed, in the morning when he left I gave him a kiss. He was sick for almost a week and this guy never gets sick. He had the highly contagious flu and I don;t know why but I didnt get it thank god. Lewis don't let this bother you, don't stop eating altogether, think about the weekend!!
