    Default Contagion Question

So, let's just say that someone has norovirus. They're contagious before they begin showing symptoms, correct?

Like, if someone who was infected with the virus (during their incubation period) touches a table, and someone who is perfectly fine comes along and touches the table, would they become infected as well?

They may be shedding the virus but if im correct, I may not be so someone can correct me... anyways they are shedding the virus so when they do v or d thats how the shedded virus spreads. So that healthy person would be fine unless the person just v or d before and was un clean about it. At least t b ats how I think it goes

People with norovirus are only contagious once they start showing symptoms. They shed the virus particles in their d* and v*. You would then need to come into contact with these infected particles and injest them for them to make you sick. It is all about hygiene, people go to the toilet and then do not wash their hands or the toilet properly after going and then spread the particles around. They can be contagious for up to two weeks after the symptoms have started, but again that is only when they poop and still shed the virus particles in it.
