I know this will sound beyond ridiculous but I'm getting scared right now that I have appendicitis.

I felt nauseated earlier but I thought it was just from hunger because
that happens to me sometimes. Well then I got this pain on the ride
side of my stomach just next to my hip bone, and started panicking and
feeling all these phantom symptoms. Like I'd feel like my stomach was
hard, but then realize it was because I had my abdominal muscles
    cleched so tightly.

I managed to prod around that area for a while, so if I could do that
without it being excruciating it's a good sign right? I felt one area
that felt kind of like there was maybe a slightly swollen lump below
the skin but it wasn't horribly painful. What do you think is going on?

    PLEASE anyone!!!!

Man what is it about this morning? The pain is still there a little...it hasn't gotten worse yet, so lets hope that continues.

I told my mom too and she said she thought it was more likely my ovary. I don't know why that would sore though!

    Oh, I'm so freaked out!

i get that all the time and i go to the DR. who tells me i'm ovulating or about to get my period. I get the pain soetimes for several days at a time and it does get worse for me at times. I use a heating pad and realx for a few days. It is probably not your appendix if it isn't getting worse, i've heard they are pretty bad and relief isn't easy to get.

Sounds like pain from ovulation. I get that too, about two weeks after my period. From what I've heard, appendix pain is horrible, and you can't even stand up straight, so if you're able to walk around, you're fine.

Hey chicajojobe, hope you're feeling better now. I had similar pains the other day and panicked. A sharp, lower right sided pain. But I later found I was slightly constipated... Hope you're feeling better though.
