Anyone taken Clindamycin?

I just got prescribed Clindamycin for a tooth infection that didn't seem to go away after 8 days of Amoxicillin. I'm nervous to take it since it isn't on the list of medicines I "trust". From what I've seen online it's pretty well tolerated though. Any advice or information to offer?

I've given this (IV) to quite a few clients and I've never known it to cause the kind of unwanted side-effects you're worrying about. Take it, tooth infection pain can be awful so treat it before it gets bad.

I plan to take it, I also got another prescription of Zofran for nausea just in case. Either way though, I for whatever reason am still afraid to take it even with Zofran. Sigh. Don't know what to do at this point. Had a full blown panic attack over it this evening when I picked up the prescriptions.
