I had an emet triumph tonight!

At just after 9 PM I got on a bus with my roommate, with our bikes, and we went downtown to a public swimming pool, riding the last bit where our bus doesn't go. I swam a kilometer and she swam almost two (ok, I'm out of shape!!). And I was just proud that I swam in a public pool, went on a bus, etc. all in the same night! Maybe it would seem silly, but I know you all will understand!

Congratulations on your triumph!! You took a big step and you came out of it perfectly fine. I hope you continue to experiment with things that you never thought you could overcome. Good Luck!!

Yeah well done! The positives are good to bank up..then during the real tough times we can remember those times. You did well, and you should be proud of yourself. You handled it! Pat yourself on the back..and be gentle on yourself knowing that each day you manage a really tough phobia!!
