Severe back pain :(

I don't know what I did yesterday, but when I awoke, my middle back was killing me. I was able to ignire the pain all day, but it increased dramatically. I can't look down and moving my arms hurts my back so bad. I have to hold my breath to move as it's the only thing that stops the pain. I'm getting dizzy (lol) from holding my breath so often. I have ibuprofen 600mg... will that work? Pain is really getting too bad

I have had back problems for a long time. It all depends on what is wrong with your back that is causing the pain. In the beginning I took 800mg ibuprofen, so 600 should be fine. If you find it doesn't work I would just take enough over the counters to equal 800 if I ran out. Due to my issue I ended up having surgery to fix it, but every now and then it still acts up and I use the ibuprofen and heating pad. When did the pain start?
