    Default Feel s* :(

I've had a cold in the past few days. My nose is clear but it's gone to my chest and I am coughing but struggling to cough up the phlegm, and I feel achey and generally unwell. I also am feeling quite nauseous. Not anxiety nausea. I genuinely feel quite s*. Is this normal from forceful coughing and swallowing phlegm? I am freaking out as when I'm coughing quite a bit I feel like I could v*.

I think it is when you have phlegm at the back of your throat, it sort of mimics other things and makes you feel nauseous (a bit like putting a toothbrush to the back of your throat) but I'm pretty sure it shouldn't make you v* unless it's a very strange virus!

You're probably right, it activates the gag reflex. I feel a bit better now I've got ready for bed and I'm in bed distracting myself just playing on my phone. The coughing has stopped for a bit so there must be a link between that and the nausea. My head feels foggy. Think just the tail end of a cold maybe?
