sick car?

Got a ride home from class from a friend, I'm pretty sure his brother is sick. What are the chances of getting sick from riding in the car? I washed my hands immediately and changed my clothes. The next day I cleaned everything I had with me while in their car. I haven't even worried the whole time, just cleaned the stuff as a precaution but now I am scared. I know if I were to have caught it I'd come down with it soon.
