I'm extremely n*... I kept my nieces (aged 3 and 9) a couple of nights ago,
and yesterday I went shopping all day, so who knows what I've come into
contact with, but I feel terribly all of a sudden. I took an Ativan and I tried to
drink an Emergen-C, but I can't stomach the C... so I'm trying to sip some
diet Ginger Ale, but I'm starting to panic!!

Luckily I don't have a fever or anything, so hopefully this is just some
generalized anxiety... **crosses fingers, toes, legs, and eyes...**

    It sounds like it.

Why are you so worried, did you do something unsanitary?

No, I didn't, but the way that this hit me felt like I could really be ill... and
God knows that just having the kids loving on me for 24 hours (one of which
goes to school and the other is in daycare) and then spending 8 hours in
busy, cramped stores is just asking for it...

The "kids loving on you 24 hours" especially in the day care age makes
you a prime target. Wash your hands after changing diapers, before
eating, drinking, touching your face, blowing your nose, rubbing your
eyes, and preparing meals. Even when you first come home. Clean
surfaces that kids like to stick in their mouths. That would be
    everything.

Teach them the importance of handwashing.
