There's just been something about today... Iv been thinking back to the last time I felt so n* Iv been reading social media statuses from friends saying them, their children or their partner has a bug.

then tonight I'm lying on my bed listening to music. I get this sensation I'm going to gag. My stomach feels extreme n* and gassy???like I'm hungry. I'm hot and cold. Shaking. Excess saliva. I know I feel anxiety n* a lot. But this feels exactly like I did last time I v*. I want to scream, cry. I want to escape my body. I feel so erratic because I know it's coming. I'd rather die than this happen. I just went to the loo for a pee and I pooped without even trying. I cooked soft boiled egg for my tea. What if there was something wrong with it or I have a bug. It's something cuz it's going to happen. Please help me

how are you now? sometimes we just have a case of the runs and that's it! very well might be the case for you. (also, being super anxious can cause d* in itself!) can you try taking a walk for a bit? or doing some stretches? when im nauseous, drinking small sips of coca cola (regular, not diet) helps a lot.

I'm still in severe panic mode. Get to the point where I think it's going away then I get this sensation on the roof of my mouth and in my throat that I'm going to gag... Then all the other symptoms come back. To cope I have a clear nail varnish and I paint my nails. Symptoms feel too strong for it to work tonight tho xx

Watch TV or read a book! I know this seems simple but sometimes even playing some dance music can help as well

When I get to the point I think I'm going to v I can't concentrate on anything! I can look at a book, but nothing goes in. I even have to mute the TV because I get so overwhelmed by noise. I don't know why that is. When I use my nail varnish I can really focus. I think it's because I'm a neat freak so they have to look good... Varnish in my fingers is a nono!! This time though it's not working. Iv tried all sorts of stuff. Once I got one of my nieces felt tips and wrote on my stomach what was going through my head! I'm a freak!!

You're not a freak. We all have our coping mechanisms. I get overwhelmed by noise when I'm panicky too, and sometimes it's very hard for me to sit and focus. I end up pacing around the room trying to breathe. Focusing on painting your nails is a good idea, actually.

I'm doing ok. Practicing my breathing Iv been taught at therapy. It's easing now. For some reason Iv had rapid thoughts about v today. So many people have bugs. I'm just overthinking and making myself believe I have it. Even though I know that sounds silly I still can't stop it x
