I'm not freaking out or anything I just wanted to know this.

Is it possible for a person to transfer the v* before they get S*? Like if they still had the particles in their hand is there a chance that they could pass it on?

No......you need to ingest vomit or fecal particles from an infected person in order to catch it. So unless they had literally just touched vomit or poop and then they shook hands with you right after and then you immediately licked your hands - its highly unlikely.

You mean for someone to have particles on their hands from another source and then pass it to you? That would be a really long shot. Highly unlikely. If someone had particles on their hand and then shook your hand, for instance, there wouldn't be enough particles transferred to make you sick.
