Default How to stop worrying about the SV*?

I know it was stupid of me but I was reading about the horror stories on the NHS site and it makes me anxious about catching it even more.. Also, it's scary when I hear of even emetophobes catching it.. Or is it just really bad luck?

It's so easy to say, "don't think about it" or, "you'll be alright if you do catch it." I don't want to hear that. I just want to know good/reassuring ways of not thinking about it or not worrying when it's going around.

I hate when people say that to me. For me that is the worst thing that can happen. I just reassure myself that worry and anxiety are signs of higher intelligence--although when I am in the midst of a panicking I always think that "ignorance is bliss"
