Default I think it may happen today

Last night I was unusually dizzy and n*. Lately, for the last 3.5 weeks that hasn't been out of the ordinary, but usually Meclizine and Zofran helps all day. Yesterday it just didn't. Today my mom woke me up for a Meclizine and Zofran because she was dizzy and n*, and when I got up to get her some, I realized I was still sick.

now I'm shaking with chills, dizzy, diarrhea and so N* I can't stand it. I took a meclizine and a nausea pill an hour ago, so it should have kicked in already. I'm afraid we both have some kind of a bug and V* is inevitable. I'm so worried right now.

My mom and I are at the e.r. Neither of us are V*ing yet, but I really feel awful. Worst, we have the movers coming today at 5pm. I could really use healing thoughts and prayers right now. I'm so sick I'm both freaking out that it's going to happen, and wishing if it were going to happen it would just happen

I'm sorry you're both feeling so awful. Did you guys eat something weird? I'm not sure what the ER will be able to do for you to be honest. Sounds like food poisoning since you both got it at the same time. I hope you feel better soon!!!

Doc doesn't think food poisoning cause neither of us v* do far. My ear is severely impacted with wax and she can't even see my ear drum, so she thinks sinus, waxy ear and vertigo is my problem. Fingers crossed cause she said if that's it and I start the ear drops she's rxing, I should be okay. not sure about my mom... She's in a different room, but she felt better quicker than me, so it may be sinus.

It's a small chance, but have you tested your house for a carbon dioxide leak?

You bring up a really good point NaiveAndTrue, OP you say you've been dizzy and nausesous for weeks and been to the ER a lot but they've tested for everything. Maybe there is a leak or some sort of mold in your house that's causing these issues. It is a small chance but something worth looking into.

we're moving into a new house today.. but this house (my grandma's estate) was completely renovated after water damage. New walls, new ceiling, etc. I feel better ever since she started getting the wax out of my ear, but my ear hurts and she said it's so packed in there I have to take these drops to loosen the wax up to see if it will drain on it's own. She didn't want to go too far... because it's so packed in, she couldn't see the ear drum and was worried about rupturing something. So we're going to try the drops for a while, then I'll go see an eye/ears/nose specialist.

I freaked out because my mom had the same symptoms, but she checked out good too. they said she was dehydrated which accounted for her vertigo, because she wasn't properly rehydrating after all the sweating we've been doing moving in the humidity. Once she got fluids orally and via IV, she felt better, even before I did. So fingers crossed, the worst is over... although I still feel ookie, but not nearly as panicked.

I think you meant carbon monoxide lol. Anyways yea that does make a lot of sense, if its leaking somewhere like a faulty heater it could affect anyone in the house. Reading up on it, the symptoms kinda match what you have. dizziness, weakness, nausea... get your house checked just in case.

A carbon monoxide leaks would have to do with the heater not drywall. If this has been going on for a while and you both have the same symptoms it's best to get the house tested (you said it was her setter and you're moving so I assume that means you're selling it?). It's VERY dangerous and won't cost much to run a test
