Hi guys, I've been away lately, I have actually been trying to get
therapy and things seemed to be going well.
However, on saturday night I thought I was gonna V* for the first
time in ages.. ill describe what happened in case anyone could shed
some light.
I was out with my boyfriend after work and had a coke, then got
home and felt a bit gassy. I thought it was fine, just some harmless
gas. Then it began to get worse, in fact so bad, i felt as if i was going
to gag. I still felt gassy though, I am one of these who cannot burp
and I was s bloated by this point, I was swallowing down what felt
like they were going to be gags, and it did feel like something was
trying to come up, everythirty seconds, it felt so so awful and i was
so terrified and tried laying down on my side which took the gagging
pressure off my throat for a bit so i sat back up and it came back
worse, i nearly ran to the toilet but wouldn't let myself. It went on for
about 1.5 hrs and i got those frog noises in my throat too. I honestly
felt so awful that I was certain the next day I would have bad
repercussions in the toilet but everything was normal... Does anyone
have any idea at all what this was? Could gas ever be that bad? Any
advice would be so so welcome.. xx

I once had gas so bad that I thought I was having a heart attack. Yes, gas can be that bad. It's possible that the soda was overly carbonated at the factory and that was why it was so powerful. Since you weren't going to burp, the gas had no place to go so it settled in your tummy, making you feel bloated. Next time you get a soda, stir the straw around the soda a bunch of times, it helps release some of the gas. I hope you are feeling better.

Oh man! I get those "frog" noises in my throat all the time!!! I hate that! I'm one who rarely can burp, so those noises in the throat happen a lot, especially when i'm full of gas. I wonder if you were just over gassy, and due to what you were feeling, you may have induced an anxiety attack on top of it! I felt similar to what you were describing before, and i know (with me) it was a full blown anxiety attack! How are you feeling now?

differentiate between the two, i'm wondering if I hadn't swalloed what
I thought were gaga id I would've actually done a big burp... i was
too scared to try though

can you at least make yourself burp? If not, I would keep gas-x or beano or something handy incase that happens again. I'm not usually gassy.. but I can burp.. and soda and pepsi make me do it a lot.. ( I usually avoid those ).

ANyway, just wondering... glad u r feeling better now

Hi guys, no Tayde, I cannot make myself burp, I don't have a clue
how to do that, sometimes though I wish I did because I think it
could stop so many cases of feeling n* ... I don't know, i just don't
know the difference between feeling n* and needing to burp so i just
swallow down anything that feels like it is coming up.. its not really
very nice
