Hi guys, I am pretty new here to posting but I have been reading for
quite a while and this board is my savior a lot of times!
Right now I am feeling gassy I think(i hope) but I feel n* too, like I
am going to gag but keep swallowing it, I think it may be gas but I
cannot convince myself that gas could make me feel this gaggy. I
can't burp and my stomach feels huge and I don't know what to do, I
am so worried I might v*, I don't know how to tell the difference if it
is gas or v*. I am winding myself up and it is driving me crazy. What
is a good way to help yourself burp but not v*...I know it sounds silly
but I feel rough... please any advice if possible, would a fizzy drink
help or make it worse? I haven't yet had lunch.. x

Hey Peely....i was feeling the same way yesterday and i did not have any tums or something to take here at work...so i did take a xanax and it calmed me down and then i got home and was debating weather or not to even eat any dinner b/c i was scared i would get sick....so anyway i did and i was fine after that....my stomach had been growling and so i knew i was probably hungry but still scared to eat....and so i ate and i was fine after that...but that's just it...you never know what's going to happen....and that's what i hate about it so bad......it sucks to always wonder and be scared about eating...it's no way to live happy....But what in the world can we do to stop it? Heaven only knows.....

I suggest you keep some tums on hand...and I also buy the ginger root capsules at like Walmart...they are wonderful for nausea and they are natural...i take one after every meal b/c i also have ibs...and get very bloated and queasy alot...so i always have them on hand....i hope this helps some.

Isn't Maalox Max supposed to treat all those stomach things (n*, fullness, indigestion) and treat gas too? I've been wanting to try that.

I like Mylanta (liquid, gross but works) for gas, heartburn, stomachaches. I just started getting painful gas and bloating in the last year. I must be getting old

Since I never had it before, i didn't know what's what it was, until my husband explained it to me. I had bad bloating (felt like I just ate Thanksgiving dinner), stomach pain and nausea as a result. Felt like I needed to toot or poobut nothing would happen. I found mylanta works pretty good for that.

I started getitng it pretty frequently and got really fed up so i got Dr. Natura's Colonix, it's a colon cleanse you do for a few months. I have been doing it a week and I don't have too interesting results yet, but it does seem like my gas and bloating is gradually going away. It is supposed to help with digestive ailments, so we'll see. Worth a try anyway.

Hi, Peely! It sounds
to me like a mixture of 2 things I get easily: gas , and anxiety. I
think you have gas (the bubbly/bloatly feeling), and because of that,
you worry, causing anxiety symptoms: gagging, n*. So of course, that
makes you worry more, causing an increase in those symptoms. And since
when you're anxious, you produce acid, that adds to gas, and before you
know it, you're in a vicous circle cycle. So try to focus on numbing
the anxiety, and you're body will take care of the rest naturally.

Did that make any sense at all?</font>

Hi guys, thanks so much, it totally is a vicious circle.. I get myself in
a right flap! I will try some of those things for sure, my boyfriend
explained to me that I may feel n* more often than most purely
because I don't burp, he reckons that made me feel bad...
