    Default Incubation period

Is it true that the incubation period is typically 12 to 48 hours? Does that mean after 48 hours I can stop worrying?

Was over at my moms house two days ago. I kissed her forehead and I noticed she was sweaty and she told me she had been V* all night the night before. Yesterday she said she felt lots better. Nobody else at that house the second. I washed as soon as I found out. I never touched my face etc. But I did kiss her forehead.

I read in the earlier informational post that the incubation is typically 12-48 hours.

Do so you think I'm "safe"

I've read the "average" onset of infection to symptoms is 36 hours. So I'd say after 48 you're definitely in the clear.
