Are you the only one home w/ her? I don't like that she's passed out, you might want to call your parents or hers and the doctor.

I agree with the others--she probably needs to see a doctor ASAP! Let us know how she is doing!

Glandular fever is another name for mononucleosis. If this is what she has, there's a good chance she will never get it again. I wouldnt worry too much about catching it unless she sneezed/coughed around you or you kissed her. Kim

i don't think that glandular virus is very contagious. if it's as similar to mono as i believe it is, it's probably contagious prior to symptoms, like most cases of mono. you should be just fine!

i hope she feels better soon!!!

    I too hope she
feels better soon, mono or anything like it can be really bad I've
heard. I thought it may have been menengitis (with the bad headaches)
but I guess mono can do that too.</font></span>

Take her to the emergency ASAP!

    Edit:
Now I just read your update on her. You should be fine as long as you haven't been sharing food or drinks with her. I know that mono is often called "the kissing disease". Hope she feels better soon and I'm glad you got some care for her asap. She needed your help and you were there for her --- *hugs*Edited by: purpleteacher
