I've been reading on here and some people talk about getting headaches and stuff. So, is a headache like a warning sign that you might get the sv or what? I'm soooo making myself paranoid, but I was just curious.

    Liz,

I think you can rest assured and calm down that a headache is just a
headache and not a warning sign you are going to get a sv. If
everytime anyone got a headache it was followed by a sv then we would
all be laid very low indeed. in fact from what I can gather, the
headache usually comes AFTER a sv, which may be a sign of dehydration
(if anyone else knows better then please step in and correct me)

Probably not. That's just what emets do. When we get any sort of
symptom or weird feeling we think it means we're sick with something
    that will lead to v*ing.

Headaches, dizzyness, random aches and pains. ::sigh::

I had a headache all day today. My fault though. I should have taken something for it, but I didn't. It's gone now. No. Just b/c you get a headache it doesn't mean you are getting a sv.

I get headaches daily. I have migraines, sinus headaches, tension headaches, etc... I am constantly dealing with headaches - so that isn't a promising side of any SV. I am also constantly dehydrated and have issues with stress going to my head, so I am rather used to having a bad headache all the time.
I\'m always a shade of purple...

I have a headache as I'm writing this--they are so common in my everyday life. For some people who get migraines (intense throbbin pain where see floaters and other strange things) there is v* involved--but it's totally neurological and not caused by a SV. Headache with illness is more usually associated with colds and influenza.

Don't worry, Liz. Emets are great at preventing vomiting but absolutely horrible at reading body feelings that may or may not lead to vomiting. It is very unlikely that a headache would be a symptom if you were coming down with a stomach virus.
