I've been feeling like an off and on nausea tonight.

I'm trying to tell myself that it's no big deal if I v* but it just
isn't working. I know that it won't be the end of the world, but I
still really, really don't want that to do it!

I don't want to spend tonight laying around sick. I want to be able to
relax, and enjoy the last few hours of the weekend, and prepare for my
    test tomorrow.

I'm so afraid I have a sv. It'll be my own damn fault too. It's
February, one of the worst months for illness, so I should know better
but I've been getting careless about rubbing my eyes. I can't help it
they just always seem to feel scratchy and like they have something in
    them!

What should I do? I know that it's no big deal if I v*, I really
do....logically. However, I still don't want to, but I have absolutely
no control over it. I feel so helpless.

Take a warm hot bath. That always relaxes me and settles my
stomach. For me, the hotter the better.

I think the nausea your experiencing is from anxiety from the test you have tomorrrow. Have you been stressed about this test?? Try watching some tv, is there anyone there with you? Can you call a friend, try drinking some ginger ale or flat coke? I had a bad panic attack last night so I know what you are going through. I will be online for a while so if you want to talk...

Thanks, do you have AIM? If so my sn is CleopatraSmith4 or if not here is good too.

I'm a little neverous about my test, but not really extremely. I mean
compared to others my anxiety about this one is pretty mild. I suppose
    it's still possible though.

My family is here with me but I don't really feel like talking to them.

I think there might a can of coke downstairs, but I don't know if
drinking it is a good idea. I don't think artificial sweeteners are
good for n*, and I'm mildly insulin resistant so I never drink regular
coke. I have glass of ice water though and that does seem to be helping
    me a little bit.

Hope you are doing better. I'm on AIM a lot... and my name is onlypurples. Hopefully your anxiety is making you nauseated and not anything else. Our minds can have amazing powers over our bodies.

I agree, some sodas don't settle the stomach - only make it worse. Try what you feel safe with and find something (if possible) to distract your mind.

*hugs* Good luck on your test and keep us posted!
I\'m always a shade of purple...
