I've just seen an advert in the newspapaper for a product called Domestos Bleach Spray, and thought ooh that may be handy as it is easier than making up bleach solution to put in a sprayer (which apparently loses it's strength quite quickly anyway) and I've checked out the website as wasn't sure if it was a strong enough solution to kill noro and rota and it is!

I don't know if you can buy Domestos in the US, but even not there must surely be a similar product there too? This will save so many bleach splashing incidents and ruined clothes.

Just out of interest the website has a whole section devoted to germs, with lots of hints and tips i.e correct way to wash hands and so on and also to lots of different bugs incl noro, flu, e-coli etc explaining symptoms, how they spread and how to avoid getting them and spreading them in the home which is interesting (well i thought so ). I can't get the link thing to work but the web address is

I use bathroom cleaner with bleach. Its potent too, I've bleached my rugs with it accidentally.
