Okay I really want to try making a chocolate mousse, but obviously the
emet in me can't accept eating raw eggs. However, I read that for
recipes like that you can buy pasturized eggs. Are those really safe to
    eat raw?

    you know...
i make a really good mousse by using vanilla jello packets and cool whip!
and then the added flavor or whatever. i have used pumpkin pie filling and made an incredible pumpkin mousse!

    That sounds cool.

I also found a recipe in one of my mom's cookbooks that uses cooked eggs instead of raw, so maybe I'll try both.
