    Clear my mind....

Last night one of the girls from work who's my age (and have known
since i was little) didnt turn up to work. And cuz im so bloody curious
i text her asking why! My text message said 'Hey how come your not at
work tonight, hope your not sick (as in vomitting) She replied 'Hi no
joke, my family have had a sv* all week but at the moment i just have a
headache and feel a little sick. As i wasnt in contact i wasnt too
worried. But today she was in work, and i didnt fear here cuz i dont
really see as feeling sick with a headache is contagious, its the
headiache making her feel sick. But the issue about her family having
it i steered clear as she could be carrying it! So she knows what im
like and thankfully kept her distance from me. Even when she needed to
say something she'd stand a good 4 metres away. But im still worried
she could have passed something on to me! Am i being daft? Pleasr
someone reassure me. I cant have been around her no more than 10
minutes as i was working in a different part of the workplace. but
could others who were around her be contagious?

Please help, i know i wont sleep well tonight!

awwww was sweet of you to check she was ok.

I'm sure you wouldnt have caught it from her. Best thing to do *I make it sound so simple* is not to worry. Cos you'll end up worrying...getting stressed...resulting in a head ache possibly...then making you think you got it. I dramatise things. sorry.

It's highly highly unlikely. In my opinion anyway. And I'm sure you'll be fine.

    *hugs*

Always remember that the sv is not contagous until symptoms appear! So, whatever her family had is not "stuck" on her and passing it around to you!

Hey, the headache/feeling sick was probably because of the headache it does usually give most people neausea.

as for most of her family having it,then would have thought that she would have picked it up by now, although her being out at work ect is her avoiding it mostly..

maybe ask her how she is feeling tonight and see if she is any better..

really do think that you will be alright, just keep your immune system up and get some good sleep

    take care hun
