I'd imagine that the worst place for something like that is a pharmacy
because most of the shopping you do there is rather private. I guess I
just feel that, unless they suspect you're running a methamphetamine
lab because you're buying six bottles of cough syrup at the time, they
have no place asking why you're buying anything whether it's Phenergran
or shampoo.

I purchased it at www.pharmacy2u.co.uk. With shipping, it cost a little over $14.00 (US money) for 56 pills. It took one week to get here. The package was a little beat up, but it did come a long way!

The shot will stop v* most of the time, the pill will provide relief from the nausea but you can still v*, I know this from personal experience. I don't know about the suppositories, but I would imagine they would perform similar to the pill form.

I think it has to do with the dosage. When you get a shot of phenergan you are getting more milligrams of the drug than if you take the prescribed pill form. You could match the oral dose to the shot dose, but it still might not work all the way b/c the other barrier you're facing is how compromised your gut is. When you swallow the pill you're counting on your stomach and intestines to absorb the drug, and if they're very irritated it won't necessarily absorb well, does that make sense? Also, if you have d* very bad everything goes through very quickly.


With the shot, the medicine bypasses your stomach and is directly in your bloodstream so you don't have any absorption problems. I would imagine that if you took the phenergan pill early in the illness it would be more effective against v*.

I don't go ANYWHERE without my Phenergan.
My husband is military, so we have awesome insurance and my doctor keeps me on a running prescription of it. I'm very lucky.

I take one 25mg pill if I feel n*. When I had FP last summer, I never v*, but had severe dry h*. I took 2 25mg pills, and the h* stopped within 15 minutes.
