    Well for the past few days I havent been feeling right at all, not sleeping properly IBS playing up tired and just general rubbish...

    I go to try and sleep at night and then out of the blew I will wake up from drifting off and start panicing spent 2 hours crying myself to sleep this morning about 5am...

    Im just fed up tired and in need some some advise about how people manage to controll these things?

    I just find that this is getting ontop of me FAR to much now im starting to because very irrational.

    Someone from the UK come wrap me up in a bubble,tell me what I can do lol...

    just kidding bout the bubble,although seriously is there anyone out there that can shed some light on this im finding that its really brining me down.

    I am sure you don't feel well cause you are tired, and I have had the same cycle. I don't feel good, so I can't sleep, lie in bed awakee and feeling sick, finally fall asleep, get 3 hours sleep, wake up feel sick, and it goes over and over. I take a Benedryl when I can't sleep. It is a simple antihistimine, and not to menton an anti-emetic, and it makes you very sleepy. So if I am feeling sick and tired I pop one and off to dream land I am...

    sounds like way too much anxiety.

    you may want to invest in some medically blablabla soothing relaxing sleep enhancer cds. made by sleep specialists. just calming soothing music you can pop into a cd player and will help you drift off...

    also, are you exercising during the day?
    eating right?
    these are the things that will help you sleep sounder and not wake up freaking out.

    but then if you still DO wake up..and start freaking out...
    take some deep breaths(and i mean DEEP from your belly).. realize it will pass...
    and think about happy memories or places you'd LOVE to be..
    and picture it in your mind...

    what i've found that has helped me with panic attacks..
    is to like.. talk to them.. and say "come get me sucker.. im not afraid of you.. make me panic and freak out i dont care"..
    it sounds silly.. but taking control of the situation really helps sometimes.

    if NON of this works.. just wake up and get some tea. dont be frustrated that you arent sleeping. that makes it worse. and trust me. ive had MAAAAAAAANy sleepless nights, and getting upset just makes me cry and then i NEVER go to sleep.

    i dont like taking sleeping pills because they make me feel really messedup in the morning. so stick with herbal things. valerian. that stuff, if needed.
