I wish I could go home, go to bed and hide from the rest of the world for awhile. Tons of people have called in sick, with either their own sickness, or their kid's...My supervisor, who sits in the cube next to me...I'm afraid she will get sick soon...Her son was sick Saturday night into Sunday with an SV*...every hour on the hour king of thing! I'm scared to death...

I wish I cuold stop being scared...I ended up not eating breakfast this morning and now my anxiety levels are through the roof and I'm making myself seriously nauseous.

I hate this fear that if I eat, I'll get sick. I hate SVs!!!

    what you said isnt true.
not everyone and their kid is sick.
lots of children are very happy and healthy right now.

you, as of right now, arent sick. and probably WONT become sick.
some people just really dont care about themselves enough to
work hard at staying healthy. some people care less about vitamins and herbs
and healthy eating and exercise and stress reduction. so then fine. they get it. and they probably dont care. and children are more prone to getting it. and thats fine too. because in a few years they'll be grown up and their immune systems wont be so vulnerable to stuff like that.

if YOU care, take the proper precautions!.. do the above and stay positive!
geez, february is pretty much over in like a week. isnt that wonderful?!

springtime and warmth and flowers and sunny skies.

like everyone has said..as long as you steer clear of sick people, wash your hands often, and be proactive in your health..you will be absolutely fine fine fine fine forever.

Thanks for the reassuring words. I get overly nervous over nothing! I will make sure to be extra careful!!

Going through it here too. I can here someone hacking in the bathroom as I am writing this. A bunch of our clients are sick, our recptionist is out with her sick daughter, etc. I was doing well with not worrying so much and here I am again in the middle of an anxiety attack!! This is so unfair, but I find myself beign pissed off at the people that are sick for hainging around, why can't they go home??? I also want to crawl in a hole for a week until this blows over. This is roudn two here and the SAME kids that were sick with it 2 months ago are sick with it again....HELP!! I am freaking out here!!

I am in a better mood about it, though...From asking around, most people out just have a bad cold/flu bug. We only have two people out with sick kids with a sv*, so its not very likely I'll catch it here...

I snapped out of my anxiety almost imediately!!

Its funny how we have such a tendency to ASSUME that everyone that called in automatically has a sv*. We jump to that conclusion and then get all stressed about it and anxious...I am glad that you realized that not too many people are actually sick with a sv*.

Don't worry.....I join the relms of "crazy" too!!!
