I am totally freaking out. So I kept getting cramps and lots of
gas yesterday. And I was thinking it was just my female
problems starting forthe month. I felt better and had dinner,
then felt sick again after dinner, so we went to bed and I took
pain meds. I just woke up feeling really bloated and my
stomach hurt bad and it made me feel n*. I called my mom
because I was scared. We think its just my period coming
becuase I tend to have d* and discomfert with my period. I also
think that my antibiotics are helping in the discomfert. But I
have this gross feeling in my gut, and I feel n* and I have a
weird feeling in the back of my throat. I don't want to get sick.
I'm scared that I will be. I just want to go back to sleep, but I'm
scared to go back upstairs. I tried going poop and it was painful
and kind of loose and really smelly. The reason I'm scared
about being sick is because I keep having uncomfertable
burping and I have the strange feeling in my troat, and I havent
have my period for three months becuse of my birth control and
this is the first period i have had since switching my dose...same
medicine, ifferent length of time on it...but i took it off sunday,
so if it was to make me sick wouldn't it have happened???? Im
really scared and in pain, and i dont know what to do. Help.
I love Sam

I feel so gross when I have my break from birth control pills, I have
a bad stomach and tend to feel slightly sick and moody. I reckon you
are ok, try not to get n* confused with gas, I often do that and
mostly you need to let yourself burp. Gingerale is good for settling
your stomach or camomile or pepperemint tea. Maybe suck a mmint
if you have one. I'm sure you will not get sick from it, time of the
month can be terrible!!! Hope you're ok xxxxx

I'm sure you would have been sick by now. It probably is the mix of your period coming and the antibiotics. I'm on my period now and on antibiotics. My stomach has been feeling off all week. If you can, just try to ignore it. Watching tv is best for that. Try watching your favorite shows to take your mind off of it. I know it's an icky feeling before you start your period, but it will be over soon. Sometimes my pms is so bad, I actually think I'm pregnant, but it's always the bad pms. I also get stomach aches before too. Plus, taking the antibiotics doesn't make it better, but you will be fine.

I went back to sleep and woke up feeling less in pain. I ate and
such, and then I started my period. I still feel so icky, and
cranky, but not like I'm gonna v* or sick in pain like that. I just
hope that was the worst of it. thanks guys. Donna how is your
daughter??

I get so incredibly sick around that time of the month. Gastro distress tops the list, along with panic attacks. I have to keep remembering that's what it is!

You mentioned that you were taking antibiotics, they can cause all kinds of problems with your gut. Yogurt is good about replacing the good bacteria into your system if you enjoy eating that...It really does help me, also helps with preventing yeast infections that often flare up after a round of antibiotics.

You might have just suffered from a bit of gas which sparked you nerves, nothing to worry about.
