Alright, I'm feeling a bit better and I'm getting ready to make an
appearance at school. However, guess what just happened...

My dog just threw up. He's been choking and coughing all day. I'm sorry
if this is graphic for some of you. I won't go into any further details
because... well, for one thing, I didn't see anything. All the same, I just
feel like I'm going to cry. I'm so frustrated and emotional ATM. (PMS,
really. ;P ) And to top it off, I'm worried about my poor puppy.

I hate it when my animals get sick all over the floor. My poodle did that all over my new area carpet in my bedroom and we could never get the stain out. Blargh... Glad to know you are feeling better though!

Maybe you should take your dog to the vet.

Coughing, choking and barfing can all be signs of something serious, like kennel cough, obstructions, etc!

I hope he is alright! You too!

glad you're feeling better! my puppy used to throw up a lot. how oldis he? our vet told us that they have very weak stomaches when they're young, especially if they are small dogs, so maybe he ate something that didn't agree with him. if it persists, take him to the vet. if not, i wouldn't worry about it. my cat also throws up a lot and the vet said that sometimes they do it if they don't like what you fed them! it's like revenge, they eat it but v* it up just so you know that they did not enjoy it! animals are funny sometimes

Hey, thanks for all the replies, guys.

Blondie, my dog's not really a puppy anymore, I'll admit. He's just turned
11, so he's actually starting to get up there. He's always had a sensitive
tummy, so you might be right in that he might've eaten something that
didn't agree with him. I'm going to keep a watch on him all the same,
though. You're right, Jamie - could be something more serious than an
upset stomach. I'll keep y'all posted, though.

And yeah, Purple, I hate it when he gets sick. :P It's not that often,
admittedly, but - *SLIGHTLY GRAPHIC* - he wasn't feeling well and I was
sitting on the floor drawing in my room. He just poked his head in and
got sick... all over my drawing. Freaked me the heck out, naturally, but I
was actually more worried about /him/ than mad or terrified. I guess it
just happens.
